Beautiful clean cabins that sit on the lagoon. The view is awesome. The spring is refreshing. The mud treatments feel fantastic. The massage is unique. The restaurant is delicious. It is a short drive to town. Avoid driving at night time in the area for your personal safety.

The good: Well established and authentic eco resort with basic cabana accommodation on stilts with beautiful lake views. Well maintained trails through the forest with or without guides. Free use of kayaks. Decent restaurant. Good value. The bad: could provide better interpretation of the conservation work in the area in multiple languages. Noisy speedboats running around the lake all day. The ugly: groups of tourists being encouraged to throw food at obese monkeys on a small island.

Beautiful place to enjoy nature. Cabins are eco friendly on the top of the hill. It’s a different concept like an adventure. The lodge price includes will includes the kayak, muddy treatment, and guided tour. It is like living in the jungle. A nice adventure !!

It’s a beautiful reserve that is defensively worth a visit. Entrance fee is 100$ pp, including a guide for a jungle tour. Good things: - beautiful jungle trail - the reserve seems to be doing really well, there’s now 90 scarlet macaws and you really feel like you’re in the jungle when you’re visiting. They have the most beautiful huge trees - accessible by car and by boat - fun to rent a kayak (120$), you can visit monkey island by yourself Questionable things: - a guide is mandatory. - we had a Spanish guide that was really hard to understand, eventhough I speak fluent Spanish - our guide was constantly on her phone, questions weren’t really answered - it seems that the guides are volunteers from a school, so they ask for a tip. This wouldn’t have been a problem but when entering they say you pay for entrance and a guided tour, and the tour wasn’t by any means good. - we sadly didn’t see any monkeys on monkey island

Great place that is trying to preserve the jungle, reintroduce native species, and find new ways to educate and integrate with the local community and economy. Highly recommend to take the early-morning bird-watching tour (in Spanish) with Esteban. He is a wonderful and highly knowledgeable guide and you will feel like the only people in the jungle as everything wakes up around you.

A great place to go for breakfast - you can walk in and go to the restaurant without the entrance fee, or just walk to the dock for pics. Breakfast was delicious. Tour was not really worth the time nor expense (also required a guide). Did not stay overnight.

Really nice place to visit! Prices of cottages from 1100/ night! But if you are scared from spiders don't stay per night! Hahaha! They have a lot to offer! Definitely magic place! In packages of 1 night you have included ritual with Shaman, bath in private cottage with mineral water, mask for your body and face, walk tour in reservation! If you not stay per night each activity has price. 100-400! Also you can take masage there!
